Celebrate the beginning of the annual Spike Island Open with us with this first look into the studios and other working spaces in the building from 6 to 9pm. After 9pm, the party carries on in the café with food, drink and music till late.

This event is part of the Harbourside Arts Night, kicking off the May Bank Holiday weekend with an evening of new art at five nearby organisations. Other previews include Jimmy Robert, consensus rouge noir (Bristol) at Picture This; Magnus Quaife, 1968 and Other Myths at Works|Projects; open studios and an exhibition at Bristol Diving School; and Superpower: Africa in Science Fiction at Arnolfini.

Travel between Arnolfini and Spike Island with the Bristol Ferry Boat Company who run a shuttle service until 9pm. The journey takes about 10 minutes each way and the boats stop outside of Arnolfini and near the SS Great Britain. Spike Island, Picture This and Works|Projects are a short walk from there.
