Spike Island Café is operated by Jessie Nicolson of Bristol-favourite Tincan Coffee. Open every day, our menu offers wholesome, internationally inspired cuisine with a passion for independence and environmental sustainability.
Enjoy breakfast, brunch and lunch dishes which change with the seasons, plus a selection of toasties and panini available from the counter. For something different why not try Naleśniki? These traditional Polish crepes are served with a diverse selection of savoury and sweet toppings.
Our delicious selection of cakes and pastries are baked in-house and also supplied by local bakers including Pearly King Cakes and Bosh Cakes.
We serve our own locally roasted, seasonal espresso blend, married beautifully with Bruton Dairy milk, and alternatives Oatly and Bonsoy.
We offer vegan, gluten-free and allergen conscious menu options wherever possible, without ever sacrificing taste.
Our café has step-free access and a spacious layout in which we nurture a lively, community-focussed space to work, relax and connect with the heart of Spike Island.
We take great pride in using vegetable-based and fully compostable material for all of our disposable utensils and packaging. We also happily offer a small discount to any patrons with a re-usable cup. You can also buy your own ‘r-CUP’ from our counter.
