Join us for a playful morning of drawing and character building, led by artist Esther Hesketh.

This event is taking place in-person in the Spike Island Associates Space. Please book a timeslot for your family group (either 11am or 12.15pm).

I AM MAKING ART

These monthly activity sessions are led by artists. Visitors of all ages and abilities can try out new techniques and approaches to making art, from drawing and painting to collage, sculpture and animation.

Esther Hesketh

Esther Hesketh is a visual artist and art technician based in Bristol. In 2020, Hesketh was awarded the Spike Island Graduate Fellowship, and they are currently a studio holder at Spike Island. Working across interactive and sculptural forms, their practice explores narrative and space through materials and conversations.
