Join us for the previews of the new Spike Island exhibitions on Friday 7 October 2022, 6-8pm:

Rosemary Mayer: Ways of Attaching

Ways of Attaching is the first institutional survey exhibition of artist Rosemary Mayer (1943–2014). It spans three decades of Mayer’s prolific and varied practice, from fabric sculptures, artist’s books and ephemeral installations of the 1970s through to ink drawings and pastels from the 1980s and 90s.

Lawrence Abu Hamdan: 45th Parallel

Lawrence Abu Hamdan is a Private Ear, a detective of sounds and their traces. His new film commission, 45th Parallel, focuses on the Haskell Free Library and Opera House, a unique municipal site that straddles the jurisdictions of Canada and the United States.
