Artist Development is an important part of our programme. We are dedicated to supporting artists to develop their careers, investing in their practices and providing a springboard for their creativity.

We aim to support artists from a range of backgrounds and at different stages in their careers by increasing development and production opportunities. We also partner with other organisations on research projects related to contemporary art.

PAST RESIDENCIES

Sian Norris

Bristol-based writer Sian Norris was in residence in 2017.

Mary Paterson

Working between critical writing, poetry and live art, Mary Paterson was art writer in residence in early 2017.

Tamarin Norwood

Exploring the acts of drawing and writing in relation to time and three-dimensional space, Tamarin Norwood was in residence in 2016.

Marinella Senatore

Italian artist Marinella Senatore was artist in residence in 2015.
