Elisa Kay

Elisa Kay is a curator whose work over the last several years has focussed on British art since the 1960s. She was the founder director of Flat Time House, the home and studio of the late British artist John Latham, where she curated a programme which contributed to a body of research around Latham’s work and initiated a dialogue with subsequent generations of artists, including commissions by artists Laure Prouvost and Bea McMahon. She was Project Manager for How to work together, a shared programme of contemporary art and research presented by Chisenhale Gallery, The Showroom and Studio Voltaire and she has curated exhibitions at Lisson Gallery, London and Nottingham Castle Museum, where she was a Centenary Fellow of the Contemporary Art Society. She is currently working on an exhibition that looks at various ephemeral or performative land art practices by women artists from the 1970s onwards (co-curated with Karen Di Franco for Chelsea Space at Chelsea College of Art).
