Bristol based author and winner of the Costa book Award, Nathan Filer’s debut is an extraordinary portrait of one man’s struggle with schizophrenia and his descent into mental illness. Inventively conceived, with drawings, varying typefaces and typographic tricks it is a brave and ground-breaking novel from one of the most exciting new voices in fiction.

“A gripping, exhilarating read… passages that have a sort of simple poetry.” – The Guardian
