To celebrate 50 years of Spike Island, we’re launching a special anniversary raffle – a chance to win incredible prizes while directly supporting our work.

What you can win

We’ve brought together an amazing range of prizes from across Bristol’s creative community – including original artworks by Spike Island artists, tickets to some of Bristol’s biggest events, vouchers for the city’s best food and drink, and gift goodies from some cultural icons!

Prizes are grouped into three categories:

• Events and Experiences
  This raffle category features prizes such as tickets to some of Bristol’s greatest events, and the chance to experience some exciting activities.
• Food and Gifts
  This raffle category features prizes from some of the best food and drink places in Bristol, and gift goodies from some cultural icons.
• Own an Artwork
  This raffle catergory features the chance to own original artworks from some of Spike Island’s studio artists and more.

How it works

• £5 = 1 ticket in any category
  Choose the prizes you’re most excited about
• £12.50 bundle = 3 tickets, 1 ticket in each category
  The best way to maximise your chances across all draws

Enter as many times as you like – every ticket supports our work and increases your chances of winning something amazing.

This raffle will run until the end of our Open Studios weekend from the 1–3 May, 2026. The winning names will then be randomly selected on Tuesday 5 May, and we will let you know if you have been successful in winning a prize via email.

Please note: Physical prizes will need to be picked up from Spike Island in person

Why it matters

Spike Island’s founding mission to make artistic livelihoods viable in the city is as urgent now as it was in 1976. A lack of affordable studios, unequal access to creative education, dwindling public funding and financial vulnerability continue to shape – and limit – who can sustain a career as an artist.

By entering the raffle, you are helping us keep that founding principle alive – ensuring the sustainability of our building, supporting our galleries and events, and making it so that artists can continue to live, work and experiment in Bristol.
