Spike Island worked with The Guild (Coworking Bath)Knowle West Media CentreUWE Bristol and Watershed to support creatives across the West of England to make a sustainable living from their ideas.

We offered residency opportunities with free space and a package of business development support. By bringing together expertise from fine art to fabrication to creative technology, we are better equipped to share resources and provide business development opportunities to the creative sector.

Network for Creative Enterprise enabled the group of partners to offer tailored events, workshops and mentoring for individuals and small enterprises to support their business development from the idea stage through to start-up and on to growth.

UWE Bristol provide research support to the network. Network for Creative Enterprise is funded by Arts Council England and the European Regional Development Fund.
