Samuel Fordham (Bristol, 1987) is a multidisciplinary artist working with photography, text, video and sound. Fordham’s work considers personal and collective identities through structures of image distribution, engagement and meaning.

Fordham’s projects are produced across platforms as installations, books and films. His work has been shown internationally in the UK, China, Canada, France, Georgia, Latvia, Ireland, Switzerland and Portugal. His work has been selected for awards and exhibitions including the AOP Emerging Talent Award, Paris Photo Carte Blanche, Magenta Foundation Flash Forward, Bloomberg New Contemporaries, Production Paradise Emerging Talent Award, and the AOP Student Award.

Fordham’s work has recently been placed in the Government Art Collection and has been featured in publications including, e-flux, It’s Nice That, The British Journal of Photography, Fisheye, Creativeboom, and the RPS Journal.

Alongside his artistic practice, Fordham is course leader on the BA (Hons) Documentary Photography and Print provision in Bristol for boomsatsuma / The Royal Photographic Society.
