Information

Laura Phillips (b. Bristol, England) is an artist working with 16mm photochemical film, sound and performance. Her works explore ideas of obsolescence, precarity, and collective histories via the intersection of visual music, expanded cinema, and performance. Through salvaging and reworking analogue and digital media, she engages with ideas of the commons, ecology, and politics of information infrastructures.

She is a recipient of the British School at Rome Creative Wales Fellowship 2024 & her work is held within the Arts Council Collection.
