Harriet Bowman’s practice involves sculpture, audio, performance and installation. The starting point is often to produce written texts that act as preliminary sketches and ideas for sculptural installation.

Recent exhibitions include All Round-er (sad sale), Spike Island, Bristol (2018); putting my foot down, OUTPOST, Norwich, 2018; Plymouth Contemporary Open 2021, Karst, Plymouth (2021); Improvised spoken word performance hosted by Eastside Projects (2020); Text included in Yellowfields publication, #2 PRODUCTION PRODUCTION (2020); Jessica Warboys Selects, Outpost, Norwich (2019); Gildengate House Residency, Outpost (2019) including Easy Over, performance, Outpost, (2019). Bowman was awarded a ‘Developing Your Creative Practice’ grant from Arts Council England in 2021.
