Hannah Hornby graduated with a degree in Fine Art from UWE Bristol in 2024, and is currently undertaking a Graduate Fellowship at Spike Island.
Hornby is a multi-disciplinary artist working predominantly with sculpture, sound and writing to explore the relationship between man, nature and machine. Her practice is driven by fiction and mythology, thinking about our histories, our reality, our future and the moments hidden by time. In her work, Hannah considers the animacy of objects and uses post-human archaeology as a tool to interweave fragments of time.
Hannah worked as an Ambassador for the British Pavilion at the 60th Venice Biennale (2024), and was selected for the UWE Enterprise Summer Scholarship, where she received mentoring and funding to produce a new exhibition, developing her artistic and curatorial practices.
