Information

Alice Farrington graduated with a degree in Fine Art from UWE Bristol in 2024, and is currently undertaking a Graduate Fellowship at Spike Island.

Farrington is a multidisciplinary artist working with analogue photography, audio, video and found objects. In her work, Farrington documents the mundane and magical, seeking to observe and articulate what it is to be human.

The elusive nature of memory is a source of fascination and tension in Farrington’s work. She is drawn to photography’s ability to immortalise fleeting moments, often positioning herself as a spectator.

Farrington is one of the co-founders of G*RLS Camera Club, a collective of women and non-binary analogue photographers based in Bristol. Their most recent exhibition, Unfolding, took place at KIT FORM in July 2024.
