At Spike Island we are committed to creating equal and inclusive spaces. We have been working with Zya Community to offer self care support and information for our visitors and staff in relation to the exhibition Howardena Pindell: A New Language. This includes a Self Care Guide which is available for all visitors to the exhibition, and to download via our website.
We also hosted a Self Care Session led by Nikki of Zya Community to specifically support our staff and visitor wellbeing as we experience some of the works in the exhibition which people may find upsetting or overwhelming.
