You are invited to the Spike Island Open Studios After Party 2026!
After exploring Spike Island at the Open Studios 2026 launch night, celebrate the opening of Bristol’s favourite art weekender alongside the Spike Island community. With DJs, audio visual displays, custom beer from Left Handed Giant and cocktails all night long, party in Spike Island’s Sculpture Yard in a special evening of behind-the-scenes fun.
All proceeds from this annual fundraiser go towards facilitating Spike Island Studio’s artist bursary and mentoring programme.

ABOUT OPEN STUDIOS 2026
This year’s Open Studios is especially significant as it celebrates 50 years since Spike Island was founded as Artspace Bristol in 1976.
From 1–3 May, visitors are invited to explore the building’s network of artist studios, galleries and creative businesses within the former tea-packing factory, including the UWE Fine Arts studios and Spike Print Studio, the largest open-access print studio in the South West. With much of the building usually closed to the public, this is a rare chance to see works-in-progress, meet artists and buy original artwork.
