Spike Associate member and artist Clare Thornton gives an informal introduction to the themes and ideas explored in Cara Tolmie's work, Pley.

Clare Thornton

Clare Thornton is an interdisciplinary artist working with performance, installation and print. Dialogue and cross-disciplinary exchange are crucial elements in her process of making and she has collaborated with practitioners across diverse fields of art and science to produce new works for public art contexts, museums and galleries.

Thornton is a member of Spike Associates and co-founder of the Performance Re-enactment Society who recently participated in the One Night Stand: Performance event at Spike Island (2012).
