I Am Making Art

These monthly activity sessions are led by artists and take place in the Spike Café. Visitors of all ages and abilities can try out new techniques and approaches to making art, from drawing and painting to collage, sculpture and animation and are invited to drop in any time during the session.

This month Laurie Lax leads a drawing workshop using graphite, charcoal and paper. Come and discover the surrealist techniques of parsemage (using charcoal powder and water) and frottage (surface-rubbing), along with other ways of making compositions and marks.
