Behind the Scenes Studio VisitsHannah James and Andrew Mania
These popular sessions invite curious members of the public to interact with artists in their working spaces. Led by a member of the Spike Island staff team, they feature an informal introduction by the artist followed by an opportunity to discuss their work and ask questions.
Hannah James uses 35mm slides, 16mm film, sculpture and print to capture transitory moments and memories. Andrew Mania’s idiosyncratic drawings, sculptures, videos and installations depict the people and personal events of his life.
