Spike Film and Video at Art Basel 2016

Spike Film and Video have just completed editing the official Art Basel Miami 2016 film programme which will be presented in the outdoor setting of New World Center’s SoundScape Park over four nights (1–4 December 2016.)

The New World Center’s projection wall will be home to a selection of this year’s premiere programme of films and videos titled Surround Sound. Curated by Art Basel film curator David Gryn, director of Daata Editions, the line-up highlights an international selection of emerging and established artists, encompassing a range of moving image works that illustrate the breadth of these various analogue and digital mediums.

Alongside the outdoor program, Spike Film and Video have produced and supplied six touch-screen monitors to show over 50 works inside the Art Basel Miami fair halls, by artists such as Stephen Dean, Edith Dekyndt, Maggie Lee, Gabriel Lester, Shelly Nadashi, Sophie Nys, João Vasco Paiva, Betye Saar, Jason Simon, Su-Mei Tse and Wang Tuo.
