Spike Island is working on a major new film commission with Imran Perretta.

The film is produced by Chisenhale Gallery, London and Spike Island, Bristol, and commissioned by Chisenhale Gallery; Spike Island; the Whitworth, The University of Manchester; and BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, Gateshead. The work will be exhibited at partner venues across 2019 and 2020.

The artist

Imran Perretta (b. 1988, London) Lives and works in London. Imran received an MA from the Slade School of Art in 2014. Recent exhibitions include 5 percent CPH Art Week, Christianshavn Station, Copenhagen (2015); Devotions, MOT-International Projects, London (2015); Bloomberg New Contemporaries, World Museum, Liverpool and ICA, London (2014–15); The Red Mansion Prize, Dyson Gallery, RCA, London (2014).
