The deadline has passed for this opportunity

Spike Island is a dynamic arts centre that supports, produces and presents contemporary art across an 80,000 square foot former industrial building near Bristol’s harbourside and provides a home to a community of over 70 artists, designers, makers as well as artist-led organisations and creative businesses.

We are looking for friendly and engaging Front of House Assistants (part-time).

Our Front of House Assistants are the face of the organisation and play a key role in providing a warm welcome to all users and visitors to the building. A professional and well-informed approach is vital, and a willingness to work flexibly within a dynamic environment.

The role requires someone with strong organisational and administrative skills and a commitment to delivering the highest possible standards of customer service.

We have three part-time positions available for weekend working.

Hourly rate of £9.00 per hour.

Spike Island is committed to addressing inequality in the arts sector and ensuring equality of opportunity in recruitment and employment. We consider diversity a strength and are keen to make our workforce more representative of the different backgrounds and experiences that make up our city. We strongly encourage applications from people who identify as Black, Asian or minority ethnic, young, disabled, LGBTQI+, working class, or living or working in areas of socioeconomic deprivation in Bristol.
