Lhosa is qualified as a lawyer in both the UK and New York. She originally studied Law at Manchester University before working for some of the world’s largest professional service organisations. These include: Andersen Legal in Manchester, Herbert Smith in London, Ernst & Young in New York and since returning to the UK in 2007, KPMG and Ernst and Young in Bristol.
She has also always been passionate about the arts and in April 2011 was appointed Head of Development at Turner Contemporary, Margate. There, amongst other things, she was responsible for the design and implementation of the fundraising strategy and helped raise in excess of £1.4m since the gallery opened. Among other roles in the South West arts and voluntary sector Lhosa was previously a Spike Island Trustee.
