Opportunity: Happenstance Technology Residencies for the Arts

Happenstance aims to change the way arts organisations use technology.

Spike Island invites applications from technologists to join us for a twelve week residency as part of the NESTA, Arts Council England and AHRCDigital R&D for Arts and Culture Fund‘. Site Gallery in Sheffield and Lighthouse in Brighton will also host two residents each.

We’re looking for bright, creative developers, designers and producers who will work as part of a small creative team, making digital prototypes and sharing their knowledge. Each bursary is for £8k, with an additional £1k to cover materials.

The residencies will run from 26 March to 29 June 2012, and the deadline for applications is 10am, Monday 30 January.
